- Work alongside and/or provide "On Call" advice as you develop your strategy in order to
contribute an outside perspective and suggest best practices
- Work alongside and/or provide "On Call" advice to your project teams (e.g. Strategy team,
Post Merger Integration team) to help prioritize issues, frame practical and efficient
analyses, and summarize conclusions into easily understood and communicated
presentations to senior management
- Serve as a personal advisor to senior executives, especially those in a new role or
undertaking new efforts (such as the development of a first time strategy)
- Advise you in your M&A process and target valuation (help with overall process, synergy
identification, best practices of merger integration, pre-merger planning, synergy capture)
- Assess your current deal, merger integration, or M&A process and show how they stack
up against best practices
- Be a faculty member at your leadership development programs

with business plan development and a strategy for raising capital
- Help kick off your strategy, turnaround, or merger integration project
What we don’t do
- Insist we can do everything. We'll tell you where we can be of help to you -- and where we
can't. We turn down over 80% of the requests we get for help and proposals. We can
often suggest where you might be able to get the help you need if we are not right for you.
- Replace traditional large consulting firms when you need large-scale analytical firepower
and/or specific expertise (though we often work alongside such firms)
- Provide deep technical expertise such as IT
- Rubber stamp internal or external studies
- Require long term expensive commitments
- Give you 'guru' generalities
- Push 'pet' concepts -- we won't try to force your problem into our solution
