Turnarounds. We have helped achieve turnarounds of companies ranging from very small to
multibillion dollar size. We offer quick, practical solutions designed to save the company, not
gut it. We do not deal in bankruptcy situations other than to help with strategic or tactical
advice during the workout.
Scenario based strategic development. We can help you develop a strategy based on
'scenarios of the future' -- a plan that will work under all conceivable futures, as opposed to
betting on one outcome, or a compromise approach that is determined by some probabilistic
(low/medium/high) series of outcomes. The world is not probabilistic!
Startups. Our expertise in valuation is especially helpful in startup situations. We can provide
well supported proformas that angel investors, venture capitalists, and private equity firms will
find reassuring. Many of our professionals have been in the private equity and/or VC
business, and so we understand what investors are looking for in terms of returns and how
much supporting detail they want to see. We can help prepare business plans, pitch books,
and presentations. In addition, we can provide advice on how the fund raising deal should be
structured (debt or equity, how much equity should be offered, etc.). In select situations we will
provide a small amount of equity capital, and may accept some equity in exchanged for
